               Machakheli tool workshop

         Making guns and pistols can be found from 18^th century in Machakheli gorge. Two types of guns were made by Machakheli armourer: “Topkhane” and “Nalpara”. Gunpowder and shot were prepared here, and bullets were imported.

          The workshops were located both as separate buildings and on the first floor of the house, where the floor was made of earth. In addition to firearms, many types of agricultural, construction and household tools were made in the forging workshops.
